  3. Help please - When mounting the original 2B+ light clusters to the rear wheel arch. Does the face of the cluster need to be vertical when the car sits on the ground so as to meet the IVA requirement. It does not read as clear as for the rear fog light Steve D
  4. Thanks guys, I guess that I will need to connect into the Rad top hose and connect this to the top of the header tank and Tee into the manifold to heater line with the bottom outlet from the header tank.

    Header Tank

Gents , Can some one help, I have been scratching my head for some time with this issue, using longborders diagram which is how I have plumbed my pinto where would an expansion tank be connected as my radiator which is from a seat Marbella is a straight in/out with no cap so the tank is essential with this setup.

  12. Hi Guys, I am struggling to set up my front suspension on my 2B build can some one please help and describe the process for making the camber adjustment. Is it normal to split the top ball joint or remove the dummy strut from the hub bearing in mind that I have the improved wishbone setup so the cycle wing brackets get in the way when trying to adjust. Manu Thanks Steve D

  21. Is the original 2B+ silencer supplied with my kit in 2004 okay for passing the IVA or do I need to modify / replace ??? I also have the 4 in to 1 pinto manifold which I think is okay. steve D
  22. Thanks for all your views gents I think I will go for the engraved plate welded to the chassis Steve D
  23. Thanks for the comment I read this statement but I think the relationship to the rear is misleading as I think it relates to locating on the off side of the car. I agree that my pic shows the middle of the beam but I can position the vin further across Steve D
  24. Gents thanks for your responses. I think I will stamp the VIN number in the location I am showing in the photo as it will be very visible when the bonnet is off and the nose conetilts forward as it will be hinged. I think it pretty much meets the regs, do you agree I will of course also fit a plate on the firewall but that will be riveted on. Steve D
