also remeber the weight of the trailer with car on the trailer i hired was 900kg unladen with the car on was rough guess about 1800kg you do feel the difference i travelled to wales for mine so it was a good distance but straight roads so was not too bad just make sure you got a good big ish engined car to pull it with. i pressume its a trailer your using? i got a zafira 1.8 so did not notice the weight too much.
hi i have a 1.6 zetec for sale it snapped the timing belt roughly done about 90,000 not stripped it yet to see what damage but sure only valves will have been bent but can check if any one interested wanting £50 it is just a bare engine
any one no if i can get a manual choke for the weber dgas carb as the diaphram is destroyed over time on the auto choke.found some on ebay but cant justify paying £70 for one.
main thing is make sure you got proper straps to fit over minimum two wheels to secure them down i secured one front o/s wheel then one rear n/s wheel and seemed fine on a car trailer.not sure what to check on car i just checked basic stuff on mine when picked it up i.e engine ran clutch worked and brakes no oil leaks and bolts missing lol hth
