  1. It was given an age related plate relevant to the original donor (F reg) I put the personalised plate on when I bought it last year
  2. Hi, after reading the above advice re dates of registration, I noticed on my RH 2B V5 that the date of first reg and date of first reg in the UK were the same i.e. the date passed IVA 01/07/2010, so I chatted on line with DVLA and they suggested I sent the V5 in, so I duly sent the V5 to DVLA with a covering letter and form V888 only to receive it back 3 months later with a covering letter stating they do not take into account the donor car dates classing the kit car as a new entity with the dates from the IVA test. Please see the attached letter if you need to. Thought I would forward this as an update to what is mentioned above, Darrell
  3. sounds like a plan, will that get us to Stoneleigh about 12-12:30pm? I will confirm nearer the time with you ta Darrell
  4. Hi Ian, What time you planning to set off on Sunday?
  5. Hi, weather, petrol pocket money(!?!) and 2b permitting I am hoping to drive down to Stoneleigh on either Sunday or Monday. Is anyone else doing this from the north west? perhaps willing to meet up on route and drive down together? Just putting it out there...

  9. Hi All, Me thinks it is looking good for Sunday, see snippet from BBC weather for Sunday, fingers crossed. Meet at the pub at 11am and go from there. Sound OK?
  10. Fingers crossed that it is something straight forward for me, glad you had a good run out.
  11. Thanks for sharing your local knowledge, perhaps if you team up with Shaun you could be the navigator I have a bit of work to do on mine, was planning a cheeky run out in the good weather we had and he wouldn't start!!!! Couldn't see anything obvious, so hoping to spend a bit of time later this week to get him running again.
  12. How about Sunday 13th March meet at 11am? mechanicals and weather permitting for us all, .
  13. Hi All, Not being knowledgeable in any way of the area around Chorley and Bolton I have had a scan on a map and would this route be OK for a run out? It works out 50 mins with no traffic plus your travel there. Which would cover Shaun's suggestion of a getting out for a few hours, 3 hours for me plus chat and tyre kicking and maybe refreshment at the pub or the Boatyard Bus Café a little further north, or any other suggestions. Are the roads suitable? not too many speed restrictions and speed cameras, plenty of sweeping bends to enjoy, not too busy... (perhaps someone has some knowledge of the roads) Not sure if I would get chance to recce the route depending on when we go and weather. We could start and finish at a pub (The Cherry Tree at Blackrod) that seems to have a good sized car park, anyone know this place? Thoughts?
  14. not sure if this is still available or even if it will fit but some dimensions are in the advert... http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=218198
  15. Did you manage to swap the washers over and perhaps go out for a quick blast? I managed my first run out today around the local back roads, I am still smiling

  21. Sorry guys, I haven't got this!!!! I ordered the wrong pipe got OD and ID mixed up, re ordered and it hasn't arrived so 'Rupert' has no exhaust and I wont be able to make the drive out tomorrow. Gutted isn't the word.
