Mikes only heard of 3 fails.... 2 of them mine Very unusual

Rich Can you pleas STOP asking how's the charger. Each time you do something catastrophic happens......convinced your a jinx.. At Blyton had a weird issue where my oil guage dropped to 0 but shot back to normal reading when revved.( oil guage on Mx5 is indicator only) As I seemed to be getting oil to head and no noises decided to carry on. Ran all afternoon and drove home no probs. so pretty convinced either dodgy sender or gauge. Today fitted oil light, which stays on..... Hmmm not a dodgy gauge then. Checked cams and they were dry. Oh crap!!! Disconnected oil cooler pipe and cranked over..... Nothing. Boll@@ks......!!!!!!! Looking like an oil pump failure....... Guess it's engine out time again. Hopefully engine is ok, will know better when apart. Deja vu

Yes Rich Much faster.... Based on Mikes timings almost 3-4 sec per lap... He clocked me in the low 1.16's Well pleased. Really gave the tyres some hammer!! Although fuel consumption on full boost was a tad lower at 12 mpg..but who cares about that.... It's damn quick

Yes definately get a baffle in the rocker... Also don't forget the PDC valve we discussed. Knock out the ball bearing inside to let the crank breath easier....

Just got home after a cracking day at Blyton. Car behaved itself ( no new engine needed). Surprised a few on track, particularly a guy in a Caterham who couldn't stay with me....loads of fast cars there and good fun giving passenger rides and passing Ivan a few times ( not as many as previously as he's got a tad quicker...) a good turnout of RHOCAR Spectators as well Sun shone all day, so plenty of track time. Found mine does 12 mpg on full boost....... Heavens opened 5 mins from closing, so a perfect day

Stick it on piston heads as well. Don't tend to get so many tyre kickers. Sold last 2 cars on there really quickly...

I can vouch for that ha ha...don't bother putting another engine in.... Charge your existing one. Mine was 125 horses and 100 lb torque...... Now 230 horses and 210 lb torque... It does make a slight difference. I don't think much will be passing me at Blyton next Sunday

Welcome aboard... That car won't disappoint that's for sure....Just be careful as it will bite as Shaft says. Hopefully you can drive it better than Rich as he used think it was a 4x4 on track days.... ENJOY :clapping:
