Got a megajolt, edis,leads well the whole kit really, just have to bend a 3mm steel angle and should soon be able to throw the dizzy away. Also got through the post a 1sq metre 2mm ali sheet to try and tidy the scuttle area. Just wish Santa could have brought me some time to do it all.

I used to stand up and shout about human rights, and still would for injustices etc, but the current Euro/UK definition of human rights is geared only to protect an individual and not the masses. For example, a violent burgler who will distress and harass an entire neighbourhood.

I purchased the gloves some weeks back. Dont buy them unless you have rechargeable batterys as they go flat in minutes. Your supposed to keep switching them on and off which is a bit of a pain.

Thanks to gaz0571 I decided to brave the sub zero temperatures early this morning and did a 75 mile round trip from Leicester to past Coventry to the Itchy Butty Run. http://www.butty-run.com/Hot-Rod.html I donned the bike helmet, gloves and one of those cheapo quilted one piece overalls from Lidle (looked a prat but they are really warm) I forgot decent socks though so my feet suffered without any form of on board heating. Anyway, it was a great run out, the cafe is first class and the petrol heads were very friendly so I think ill make it a monthly regular.

I work with some of these people in homeless hostels, whilst there are some genuine cases (probably 20%) there are some individuals who have been living in hostels for 20 years. They may get rehoused for a few months then blow their Community Care Grants (about £1000) then fail to pay the rent and then are back in hostels for another couple of years. I dont mind anyone having an alternative lifestyle but the only issue is the cost. There are over 300 hostel and supported housing beds in Leicester alone Each one costs, wait for it !!!!!!.................................................................. £498.00 each per week plus benefits and guess who pays? Well its not the residents, though they do contribute £6 per week from their benefits. Maybe this does pay my wages but i would gladly give up my job if it meant this problem would cease. Oh and dont get me started on benefits, residents with drug and alcohol issues can claim disability living allowance and other benefits of up to £250 pw And it doesnt matter how stringent the Government laws are, they will always be deemed to ill to work which will only affect genuine people with disabilities that get there benefits axed. Then there`s my personal favourite........ Cold weather payments for residents who live in a 24 hour 365 days a year centrally overheated hostel. Grrr I need a new job.

An additive called pro fst http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-809-silkolene-...ol-engines.aspx should do the trick for carb freeze, but it shouldnt be a problem unless your using the car in nasty freezing fog type weather, even then I wouold have thought the heat under the hood should compensate once warmed up (as opposed to bikes)
