    Can I please borrow a M10 x 1.2 tap. I would pay postage to and from myself. I have not been able to find any for sale. please please.
  3. Yes Daz, the current radiator does not have a cap. Also I was trying to avoid using an expansion tank cause I do not have the space. So am going to see how it works out first.
  4. Yes Nigel, I would be keeping the origial zetec thermostat housing.And there would be a connection for a by-pass.

  7. they had a flat bed mate, so the driver just picked up the car. I put a bid on shiply.com. So try that and see what bids you get.

  10. I believe they are 2 different things.You need to drift it into the recess in the centre of the flyweel. The input shaft on the gearbox fits into it. The thrust bearing goes on the input shaft. Sorry i did not take pictures of mine.

  12. Yes Jamie its a push button start. Not wired it up yet. Would start wiring tomorrow. Waiting for some relays in post

  15. Yeap its a pain to fit. I marked the centreline of the tyre and the wing. with a straight line. Then traced the edge of the wing on the body of the car to locate it. some tape to hold it one and drill pilot holes to locate.

    lool, depends on how quickly u want car finishing and how handy u are at electrics. I have a zetec in mine. I used premier loom for my car loom. For engine loom am having some help. :rofl: ps premier loom was £130

    Far too much work in my opinion, but it would give u great satisfaction and fault finding should not be too bad as you know ur loom inside out. But I have bought a loom from premier and its a good starting point

  21. Alternatively, you can buy the plug and play loom from GBS for £390 I think. Pretty well labelled and detailed. If you were closer I would have said I would come round one saturday and we can do it together but ur pretty far from me.
