Sorry Alfa, wasn't sure, have done the dash now and it looks like this.
-
If that to me then yes it has to pass IVA. I used the existing plywood and put thick firm padding on the front and then wrapped around the underside to give a suitably padded radius.
-
Just to add these with come with classic mini runners and I can courier if required.
-
4 now. The carbon one you bought, a grp one, these and some bench style ones which fitted but wouldn't pass IVA.
-
They will be my last resort if I can't get a suitable pair preloved.
-
Bought these for my s7 but they are too wide. Will take £150 cash OR swap for a pair of seats that are 420mm wide or less.
-
Bought a pair of cobra clubman thinking they would fit, except I measured wrong kicking myself now.
-
Glad to hear the seats worked out for you! Give me a shout if you ever want a hand with anything, happy to lend a hand and get a break from working on mine!
-
What a crap day to have it on! If it ad been the weekend I'd have gone to that as quite a few bits there is be interested in.
-
The above is why I have fitted (at the front at least) my final wheels and removed the build wheels. When someone wants the steels ill put the final wheels on the back as well.
If you are struggling to find some wheels I can look at courier for my steels? Think paisley freight do a set of 4 for about £30
-
May pop down but as no dogs on site won't camp. Will be in the Clio if I do come.
-
Carbon seat sold.
Capri wheels now £50.
Steel build wheels still available to
-
Sadly people are stupid enough to buy them!
I would always run a filter.
-
Thank you richy. I will check the switches tonight.
-
Thanks Alan, will go with those settings then.
Will pm you now.

You may be right, as it is only live with ignition on. Should I get a relay click when I connect it with the ignition on?
I feel like I am just getting more confused by the wiring
Will invest in one if those tools and see if I can get any further.
-
Alan I am still running the front arb, and intended to do so until after IVA when I would look to carry out the tie bar conversion.
So what should I be running now? Are the figures I have gathered from daves articles correct? Between 1 and 2 degrees negative camber, 4 to 8 degrees negative castor and stock toe?
-
So, ermmm... Well I've managed to get dipped headlights and dash illumination. Apparently checking your ignition switch is ACTUALLY turning on the ignition helps, who'd have known.
As it turns out pins 1 and 10 (brown) on my 'dash pod' connector do the dash illumination. The is with earthing to the chassis rather than via the loom, so still that bit to work out. Also means that the wiring diagram for earlier sierras that mark found isn't right for my loom
I get a relay click going from side lights to dip beam, but no relay click when turning on high beam, is that right?
Mark what does that tool you linked to do? Description on amazon isn't great. Happy to buy if it will save me a headache though.
-
I set negative camber as that is what's suggested on, I think, dave Andrews site. If the figures on there are not correct then what front camber, toe and castor should I be setting?
I understand basics of how this all works, just never put it I to practice!
-
I've checked what I can buy in all honesty I'm not sure which relays etc that I should be checking. I'm pretty sure I am missing some relays and that the ones I have probably are past there best.
I'm a bit useless when it comes to this side of things.
-
Looks a good price that. If you decide to split I could be interested in some bits.
-
That's good news as from memory the collar is at the bottom currently, so spring as full open as possible. Gives me plenty of adjustment. How I do actually adjust the collars though? Presume I need a special tool?
-
I presume you have to adjust the collars on the spax coilovers, but how do you do it? And which way to you adjust them, up or down the shock body?
I've set the front wheels to have negative front camber and the ride height seems to have dropped quite a bit in the process!
