Welcome to RHOCaR - The UK Kit Car Club
The aim of the club is to help and support members during the build (and inevitable ongoing maintenance and modification) as well as to plan and organize a wide range of social and sporting events, from local area events to our annual national Meet! We have one of, if not the largest club stand at the National Kit Car Show at Stoneleigh each year, and we definitely serve the best burgers! We also have stands at many other shows throughout the year all around the country. It's not just shows though, our active area secretaries and members arrange regular run outs and even longer trips including the ever popular Wales and Scotland trips. The Club produces four magazines a year, exclusively for club members. It is packed with news, events, articles, technical features and irreverent cartoons. The Club is an independent organisation, and although we have our roots as the Robin Hood Owners Club and Register, we are very much a club for all makes and model of kit car, so anyone can be a "Hoody", as it's all about the state of mind, not the car you drive!
Being a member of The UK Kit Car Club has many benefits above those already mentioned. Members benefit from discounted insurance with nearly all of the specialist kit car insurers, and often get a discount that is more than the membership fee itself. Membership also gets you full access to the forum, and a wide variety of other discounts such as with Euro Car Parts. You'll also find other members are willing to go well above and beyond for anyone they see is in need of help, as long as they too are a member!
So whether you own a Robin Hood, a GBS Zero, a Locost, an MK, a Westfield or a Caterham, all can benefit from joining, so what are you waiting for?

West Mids Monthly Meet 29th November 2023

Next Wednesday 29th, 6pm onwards, Malt Shovel Pub, Coventry Road, Nr Stonebridge, Coventry, CV7 7HL.
Generally they're trying to kick us out just after 930pm so if you're coming, don't leave it too late. Also, if you want to eat, book beforehand as they don't normally let people just rock up and eat.
Entrance to the pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island.
This will be our last meet of 2023 as we don't have one in December. Everyone welcome. See you there
North East Area November Meeting tuesday 28th from 7pm
This will probably be our last meeting of the year at the Church Mouse, Chester Moor, DH2 3RJ, so would be good to see as many as possible, to catch up on your winter plans before the festivities. I will be coming down in the kit so it would be nice if others joined me, if only to show i'm not the only mad one.

East of England meets for October

After a lovely (warm) day out last weekend at the Corby Glen Sheep Fair it's time for the next meet. Looking ahead, the weather on Tuesday 17th looks good for a run out. As you may have noticed it's a bit chilly outside, so we will go into Winter mode and meet up at a cafe for a hot drink and snack.
I'm looking at the Harvest Barn (PE7 3DR) near Peterborough, arriving at about 13:00. All are welcome. Please let me know as I need to book a table.
Cheers
Al

East of England meets for September

After a last minute cancellation yesterday as a rain band refused to move out of our area, we did a quick 24-delay and went today. We went back to one of our favourite places (mainly because they don't charge for parking ) in the grounds of Burghley House near Stamford (of Horse Trials fame). Our trip times vary between 35 mins and 60 mins so we each get a good run in the cars. Since we were there last they have closed our normal parking field but have built a brand new, large car park in the grounds. So we parked up in there (still free) and as it was quiet set up there for a picnic. As you will have noticed it has been a beautiful day so it was great just sitting there and catching up. (Note: There are actually 4 cars, Derek & Mo's 2B is hiding behind mine
Most of us a busy for the next 2 weeks so it looks like our next meet will be the Corby Glen Sheep Fair on the 8th October, although we may sneak in a one-off in the preceding week.
