Farewell My Old Mate, Rest In Peace.

Those of you who have attended the shows over the last 18 months will most likely have met our old boxer George, he was still going strong at Stafford and giving Oscar a run for his money, and scoffing the odd sausage from you at the barbie. Sadly he passed away this morning after suffering a series of fits that started on Tuesday morning, and got progressively more frequent through the day, from which he did not recover.

Here is the last picture taken of him at Stafford, doing his duty, guarding the Club gazebo from those ne'er do wells at Westfield!

Hopefully those of you that met George will have been touched by his character and good nature as much as we have for the last eleven years.

George you will be sadly missed.

We will miss seeing George at the shows, he seemed to be able to put himself just where the next snack was on offer.

Our thoughts are with you, we are sure he will be sadly missed.

Very sad,

it's not going to be the same without him wandering around at the shows.

At stafford I remember him sat down by me drooling, then munching on a bit of my chocolate chip cookie.

I've had a few boxers and bred them and they were part of the family.
