why not take the car and engine to donnington and we'll do it on the stand?

that could be a crowd puller how do able is it

I can bring engine hoist and tools was thinking of trailering the hood there anyway so if it rained to much I could sleep in van I don't like getting wet

I would love to do it, well up for it at he show ! however I am unsure how I am going to get the car and engine to the show from doncaster

I think the engine change at donnington is a great idea!!!

 

I'm sure somehow we can get the engine...car etc....all to the show!

 

My car transporter trailer is up for loan but would need someone to tow it (we're alredy towing the trailer tent) and i must have it back for the Monday as its then on loan to rob-cma.

Even if its just used for transporting engine cranes, new engine, toolboxes etc....

if shaunhirst can drive car there ill pick up engine if he cant borrow steamers trailer and pick the lot up and take to show people get something to watch and shaun gets his engine changed sounds good if hes up for it

If you think its a good idea...I can also bring my 2m x 2m white gazebo (think hollowell 2012 for those who went) to stick over the car while we do the work.....a bit like what you see at race meets in the paddocks...

This could be the most infamous Engine swap yet! At least if anything is needed to complete the task it can be bought there and then.

I'm up for swinging a spanner or 2, no problems.
