Noisy Washing Machine

as title does anybody know how to make the !!***@@" thing less noisy when we first got it very quiet now its like 747 taking off when its on spin so will a belt change cure it or will it be the seal at the front of the drum anybody know

Sounds like the main drum bearing to me.

 

There is , as always , a you tube video.

 

Massive full strip down needed.

 

Good luck if you go for the repair but machines are cheap enough to buy new IMHO.

Drum bearings gone. If it completely breaks up the least damage it will cause would be a knackered drum.

Bugger of a job to change on most machines.

Had to get a new machine in Dec old one was 22 yes

The new ones take ages now to do a wash ie some 1- 2 hours.

Seams if you spend more it can take even longer not progress, in my thinking.

Our Beko made the same noise,took the back off and you could see the bearing. A few drops of EP90 oil cured it, that was a year ago and is still quiet.

Just as well you didn't publish the photos of us having our daily scrub --- the marigolds weren't for her washing.
