quite right anything will fit as long as you have the correct tools for the job in this case angry grinder and sledge hammer should do it

cant afford worcester there off some 22mm full bore iso valves i found on my van

Is it possible to fit some kind of zip, or Velcro?

had thought about a zip but getting it fixed to the polycarb is the crux

A strong zip might rivet to it with some clear mastic between poly and canvas zip.
