South Yorkshire Meet June + Change Of Venue

Hi all,

 

Some members have asked if we can try a different venue, due to the slow service for meals and irregular staffing of the bar at the Red Lion.

 

So, the June meet is at:

Monk's Bridge Farm

Nobel Way,

Dinnington,

S25 3QB

 

Coming eastbound from the M1 J31, take a left at the roundabout by the red lion and proceed for nearly 2 miles, and Monk's bridge is the 4th exit off the next roundabout.

Good idea on the venue change, it can take ages to get served at the red lion.

I will be there, not sure about swmbo yet.

Got to agree with the comments about service at the Red lion its not good and went down after the last refurb ,no knowledge about Monks Farm but it looks ok mick

Great to see every one tonight, great venue, great food and best of all no waiting to be served and food arrived within 10 mins.

 

Much better than the "Lion" IMHO.

Should be there in the beast.... It arrived this evening, 24hrs early. So not insured until tomorrow. Can't drive, but can polish....

seems like new venue was a hit.... no one complained about waiting hours for a drink or food and happy with the cost difference..
