That's the one

What I mean is that's the diagram.

I found it interesting that the stubby profile gave such good results.

The full rolled edges are good and sharp edged trumpets not as good as one might think.

But that said a rounded profile is always better than a sharp edge.

Because it acts as a wing. The air has a greater surface area to "attach" itself too, therfore you get a greater charge on entry.

All the pics I have ever seen are about air being sucked. Naturally aspirated. When it's blown I imagine it's a bit different. Same smooth airflow principles, radii, port matching etc.

It's been a while since I updated because I've been busy machining the supercharger outlet.

Unfortunately, the first effort (which took over 2 weeks) went in the bin because it didn't turn out as well as I'd imagine and it was better to just cut my losses and start over.

I'm much happier with mk2 and it's completion now signals the beginning of the end as all the bits are rebuilt for the final time, painted and fitted onto the engine....not long now.....

All going good so far.

The edge of the belt is black and white which gives the optical illusion on the video that the belt is jumping on the crank pulley, but I'm really pleased that the belt is running perfect with no signs of wobble.

Obviously as the water plumbing is not done, I could only give her a few seconds of running to check things. Next job is to sort out the new rad and intercooler so I can run her up to temperature properly and put her through her paces before having a tidy up in the engine bay.
