To fix the dipstick tube, take it out completely, clean it up at the part that goes into the engine block, then solder around the outside with plumbers solder, or better still brass brazing, now file it down slowly until it's a knock in fit into the engine.

The oil leak around the manifold will more than likely be from the rocker cover gasket, often due to over tightening of the bolts making the cover deform, a new gasket, the cover reshaped flat around the edges , and the correct spreaders underneath each bolt, tightened correctly should sort it.

possible bottom breather leak ??

where do the breathers connect to ?? inlet or puke tank... is the valve intact in the bottom breather- if it goes to a tank, then it wants removing....

picture of where it appears to come from would help

Thanks for sorting photos out.... So there should be a pipe from inlet to the value l can't see any photos online to see what it looks like. So will that make it low on power too cheers for all info ☺️

That metal canister pushes into the rubber bung thingy just under the green wotsit in your 2nd pic.

Yes it will lose power with it missing.

The real question is why someone went to the trouble of removing it & hiding it away,

when replacing it in the right place would have been easier & quicker..

Replace it, degrease the engine before you run it again & see what happens.
