Hi guys just thought I would start a topic as I'm just getting the final parts to start my turbo conversion I'll be using the megasquirt ecu and the td04 turbo I've got my exhaust manifold with my adaptors to bolt up to the turbo and I'll be using the gbs inlet plenum

I cut the zetec original plenum to get take the injector bit stripped all the unnecessary wires out of the injector rail used some gasket sealer and bolted the two together ready for installation and purchased a few hoses and hose finisher clips got to keep it bling under there next step was to make the exhaust manifold adaptor plate so I could use the escort turbo which I picked up for 25 thankfully chris (tractor) had already got one so I took that and made myself one

Would advise changing the rod bolts fot ARP. I ran decompresion plate with 10 psi and the rod bolts stretched. Knocked big end out

The end bhp is irrelevant if you boost more than the 11psi it will be an early grave for the zetec. But 240 should be achieved

I.m running arp Conrod bolts

Think about the torques that's where the smiles come from

Oh steamer 243.6 i.ll have you know

Not doubting you as I know jack *bleep* about zetecs, but where did the 11psi figure come from? I know Dean has been advised by a well known and reputable tuning firm with a history of building and tuning zetecs that the safe limit is more like 14psi.
