Nigel - I agree about the Sprint. Looked like a brick, aerodynamics like a brick, just drive so so well.

 

With a few simple mods you could up bhp from the stated 127 to 170 on the standard SU carbs. Anymore than that and you wanted some Webbers or Dellortos.

 

A tuned Sprint must have been one of my favourite cars to drive.

Well what a great range of cars we've all driven

 

Lee - I agree the Renault 25 is a great car - I toured many times all over Europe - even got down to Sicily once

Longborder - you reminded me that I forgot my Lambretts LI 150 (my Mod days) all crome and mirrors

Bill - you had a yellow car

Riz - we share common cars

X19 and 5GT Turbo - both great for different reasons - went all over Italy in the X19 and the ""5"" was boosted and went like s...t

Micky - an Austin 1300GT - they were good at the time (well mine was)

and Guy - you've had so many bikes
