    2.0 Pinto Mis Fire

    14 degrees at tickover sounds a bit high I am sure used to run mine at 10 degrees but been a while since I worked on a pinto
  9. Some aftermarket zetec sumps have problems with dipstck hitting the baffles or some people call it the windage tray but basically the hole through it is to small and slightly not in the Wright place so on my sump I made the hole bigger so dipstck now passes through it rather than pushed towards the crank
  10. To narrow down the fault disconnect the return pipe at the common rail then plug the common rail and connect a bottle of deisle to return pipe if it drains away then there is a problem with the return circuit
  11. On the lorries this can happen when the return pipe comes detached in the tank

    well done Neil now you have delved into the depths of your engine and fixed the problem its not as difficult as some people think eh
  14. Dean didnt mention that he had to weld an adapter plate to the rs manifold to get it to fit the zetec
  15. just ordered my performance boost manifold from them through ebay and just messaged them to make it a top entry for turbo

  17. You have the silver top engine which can't rev to high cos of the hydraulic lifters
  18. so going to go back to a full ST170 setup running VVT and turbo set rev limiter to around 8000 maybe a little more and see wot happens
