  1. What can I say ... apologies ... just took random photos ... probably a good number that I missed!
  2. Nice idea ... anyone in RHOCaR thinking of buying a 'drone camera' ??? Might be a good investment for the club, would be sure to generate interest and enthusiasm with the dramatic pictures it would provide .... show them, and video footage?? on facebook ...
  3. Bit concerned then ... I read you post as ... (any excuse to the kit off!!!!!) ... Re-read it and fortunately read it correctly. Thanks for the offer. If I get confirmation as to the specs I'll be in touch. Many thanks Dean.
  4. Congratulations ... much hard work put into the build and such a positive result ... you'll soon be flying ... very well done.
  5. Nice one Dean ... I have sent Phil a message, with a photo of my glasses just to confirm whether they are mine or not. If they are, and you or Rich are going to the Leicester meet, then collecting them on my behalf would be ace! I have checked my diary to see about attending the meet myself but am unable to get over there unfortunately ... it would have been a great opportunity otherwise. If I receive the nod as to ownership of glasses being mine, I'll give you a shout. I could then collect them at our meet on 27th. The only hiccup there could be ... it's our wedding anniversary ... not certain that June would consider the meet to be on her list of 'special' venues! See what I can do ... Thanks Alan June has just reminded me that we may not even be in the country on 27th ... not booked ferry yet, but she is planning a route through France, Italy, Austria, Germany and Belgium ... overlooked that in my excitement of the possibility of being able to read again!!
  6. A M A Z I N G ... thanks - I'll send Phil a message.
  7. Under the thread ... 'A Few Photographs From Stoneleigh' ... I have put 5 posts, each containing a few photographs from the 'weekend' just gone. IF ... you would like a larger sized copy of any of them, I can email you the original(s) ... just let me know. Cheers Alan p.s. Impossible request ... but ... when I arrived home and unpacked the car ... couldn't find my reading glasses!! Black frame ... anyone remember hearing a crunching sound as they probably drove over them on leaving the field?? Having to manage with an old £1 pair. Apologies for any smelling mistakes!
  8. A second batch of photographs ... more to follow, as I find the time. I am having to reduce the size of them, in order to get a few on the forum at a time. If there is one/are some, that you would like a 'bigger' copy of, I can always email you the original(s).
  9. Some of the photos I took over the 'weekend'. I've tried to put them on the RHOCaR facebook page but can't work out how to put on more than one photograph ... I have others but here's a taster.
  10. Well, this was my first Stoneleigh. Many people I met up with, from different stands, said that it isn't what it used to be .... But for me ... It was superb. Excellent RHOCaR organisation, excellent company, excellent food and I was gob smacked by the number of RHOCAR kits on the 'stand' by the Sunday afternoon ... Awe inspiring! Was definitely worth getting wet on the journey there on the Sunday morning just to absorb the atmosphere of the club and the show over the 2 days we 'tented'. It was so good to meet the people I had had to put faces to, when reading forum comments. Hey, some of you look better than I had imagined!! Many thanks to the committee for the work they do ... But also to the others who quietly support with 'assembly' ... transporting ... baking ... and just generally being nice friendly, helpful and supportive people. Superb ... Many thanks one and all ...
  11. Intend 'breakfasting' at Stonebridge too. Myself and son. Hope we don't then add too much weight to the car post-breakfast!!

    Sierra Manual

Would be delighted to own such a manual, if I may Baz. Will be there Sunday and Monday. If someone nearer would like it and that will mean it won't take up space in your car ... I'll pass. Cheers Alan
  14. Thank you ... to whoever 'put everything back together' ...
  15. Mine is white ... nothing to lose!
  16. Shall be there ... unless stopped by volcanic ash, French traffic air control strike, fuel shortage or wheels stolen ... always be prepared ...
  17. Excellent ... will definitely join you in Malt Shovel car park 8.30 'ish on the Sunday morning. Cheers Rich
