  1. Just encase anybody wants takeaway/delivery to the NAC during the show over the weekend this might come in useful for the people drinking and looking for a food delivery service:
  2. Ian, the usual lame excuses..... Work, work and more work.... Topped off with sick, sick and more sick Finished with a sprinkling of either endless DIY projects or weekends away in the caravan. So the RX8 and bits are stashed until I get the man-shed completed and the garage roof replaced. Meantime, I thought I would get some experience in moving from a auto to a type 3. A weekends work if you know what your doing? (I've been told)... I've got all the bits, just need the weekend to be free. Which Nikki has just informed me will be around the end of June.... .
  3. Cheers Guys for the providing the hours of humour last night at the meet-up and the endless conversions about polished knobs and bent sticks etc... And an extra Thank you to Keith for providing the physical humour:
  4. Yep, your right.... Mine has part of the chassis missing and will need a little welding.
  5. Anybody got a spare AC Cobra
  6. Yep I have the luxury of making one good box from the 2x type 3's. Remember I have a 2B and not a zero and hopefully have a lot more space to play with, if not - then you bell housing may come in useful.....oooeeerr missus. But sods law, neither came with a gear lever... Hopefully see you later then....
  7. Will try to pop over, but may be late due to kids swimming lessons after work Definitely no kit and debating whether or not to tax it before Stoneleigh, just to get free entry.
  8. Is it the same fitting as shown in the picture? I will attempt to get over to meet up tonight, if you have it. But will be quite late as I have to take the kids for swimming lessons first.
  9. I believe its a Ford type 3 single rail gearbox, but I don't have a gear lever for it. Looking at the gearbox tail, it looks like a Type 9 bolt in fitment. Does anybody have a spare type 9 gear lever I can beg, steal or borrow to see if it fits? Or suggest where I can get a quick shift lever to fit it.
  10. How would you know about a 747, country bumpkin....? Next time you pop around I will show you a 747 or airbus and compare it to our washing machine, which is a 7 year old Indesit with bearings that have been wearing out for the last 3 months.... Brilliant at high spin for drowning out the airplanes, in fact I think the airport have contacted there solicitors about taking out a noise pollution policy against our property.
  11. 1970....I wasn't even an itch in my dad's pants back then
  12. I know the feeling, poor kit has ben garaged and not been touched since September, to many 7 days a week working.
  13. http://www.nationalkitcarshow.co.uk/html/prices_and_advance_tickets.html Prices seem to be same as always which means 1x adult, 4x kids, 2 cars, 1 caravan and entry to the show for the weekend as normal for the me and the family. see you there.

  15. I don't think it matters much as long as your looking at purchasing/building a 2B or Zero. More importantly make sure its built correctly/legal and safe and at the end of the day after a quick blast around the roads, you will be smiling. If not then you can easily sell it on and pick another or fix what your unhappy with on the one you own. I have a 2B (dunno if its a 2B+ or not) , cos my front suspension was custom fitted and doesn't match any of the criteria or the originals.
  16. A cold Piccy to represent the cold months to follow
  17. Glorified axels stands....nuff said.
  18. Bloody school half term again....which means holiday time. I will attempt to pop over, but it will be an early/short visit.
  19. Sorry Andi cannot make it, as my kids have started the swimming lessons and typically its on Wednesday nights
  20. Picture updated...please confirm the edits are correct...... Cheers Dino
  21. Cheers dude.... it will teach me to doubt what I thought and looked up somebody else's notes about the sender Cannot see on the picture any where else for fittings except inlet manifold Now I need to update the picture again
