  1. Yep count me in... Good test for the new blower
  2. Hi Andy Yes we are one of the most active areas... Usually plenty of kits turn up although colder, wetter nights usually means more tintops. Plenty of us around to give advice, help and take the mick out of everyone....
  3. Glad to see you listened to Uncle Tel  Proper old school engineering
  4. Femi, I'd second Blands in Barnsley. They did my Pinto and knocked £75 off for cash.... Did a cracking job on reborn, head skim, new valve seats and guides...
  5. Coming together nicely Rich. Bit of a machining marathon.... Let me know crank pulley size as I think the new one may be smaller which might mean a belt change
  6. Some nice laps there Daniel... Reminded me how wet it was. Also saw the Integra laps...pretty quick. Didn't see my car being overtaken though, although most tin tops passed us in the morning session. Great day though.
  7. Terry's been sleeping the excitement off PMSL
  8. Yes that BMW had a real rasp to the exhaust. But yours did sound awesome when you opened her up along the straights ( that's when you could keep it on the straights lol). Seem to recall you thought you were driving a tractor again...did a bit of field ploughing ha ha. Need to clean mine at some point as it's covered in mud (from my little off) and oil (from a leaky V8). Managed to pass you a few times though. Can't wait for the blower now...
  9. You wasn't that slow for a Ginger either ha ha...
  10. Hopefully nothing too serious Rich. You did manage to deposit some black stuff all over my car though.... Might need a clean and polish ha ha
  11. What a cracking day!!! 6 cars from RHOCAR and we all managed to drive home. Definately a day of 2 halves. Needed floats and a paddle this morning, anything above 40mph ended up with a spin off as some of us found...this afternoon, sun came out , track dried and some mega quick laps... Absolutely knackered, probably sleep for a week. Cars ran perfect, weather changed for the better, good company, and lots of fun... What more can you ask for? More power ha ha.....next time!
  12. Hi Sid Look on the 2nd page for suspension 2b... I posted quite a bit of info on the sliding pillars. Of you get stuck let me know
  13. If I can escape from Wales then plan to be there
  14. Glad you got it sorted. Now get out and enjoy the good weather... Yes them springs can be a bit butt clenching when compressed ha ha
  15. Yes, I'm going to fit the Canems ECU. Comes with a loom that plugs straight onto the MX5 loom, no messing with splicing into the loom. Also upgrading the injectors. Using RX7 ones 440cc.
  16. Really pleased with the fit. Dropped in place in less than 5 mins... Fits like a glove. A few mods to Rich's original thoughts for the blow off valve, but nothing major. Will definately need to make a larger cut out in the bonnet (where's Marcus lol). Hopefully keeping cut out within the bonnet side bulge profile... This things going to fly.... Can't wait. Cracking job Rich...
  17. Couldn't believe it but it's true. Rich has traded in the V8 for a more economical electric Hybrid. Caught him getting some sneaky practice for Blyton
  18. Try thepolishingshop.co.uk polishing kit approx £10 does stainless pretty good
  19. Excuse me Si, but that exhaust needs a good polishing to complete the look lol
  20. Get it on the track....you know you want too...best way to learn yours and the cars limits safely. You can also have a few laps/ lessons with a race instructor which is real good value
