Great day out, many thanks to Richard for arranging it, and many thanks to Glen and Julie for showing us around the Dales.

Perfect weather, it would be rude not to take advantage, see you at 11.

The emerald does not need to see the oil pressure, only the dash gauge does.

I might be up for a run out, just need to keep an eye on the weather.

My engine was fitted with vxr Mahle forged pistons when I got it, along with a few other mods. So far so good.

Bad luck Steve, that's why the vxr as forged pistons. Try burton power they have reasonable units. Has It been remapped? I have fitted a/f gauge to see how my fuelling is, and alls good, but my close loop it to the Emerald just to be sure.

Fitted a pair of night breakers unlimited to a 206, great result and have fitted a pair to the hood.

I was working on the Hood when the post man dropped the latest edition in my hand, I sat in the garage and looked briefly at the front cover, at that point a carried on with my winter mods, but my thoughts were wth Mark and his family. Excellent edition, many thanks Adrian

Chris, its been mild weather so no excuses not to be in the garage working to get it on the road for Cheese run. I will be posting mine before the weekend. I may even leave mine taxed all year so that when Derek calls round on those sunny winter days I can join him for a spin

I spotted this in the local paper and contacted Jim who is organising the run about kit cars attending, he said they would be welcome. I have been around these roads on many occasions and the view of Harringworth Viaduct is worth the visit. It will mean taxing your cars in April, unless your all year users. Hi Richard, sorry to hear your still having problems. If I was in your position I would dump the edis and mod the megajolt to directly fire the coils, that's assuming the megajolt is capable of doing that, I will look on the net. Kerry
