went out for a nice drive to work today on the way home I stopped to get fuel and noticed a big puddle of oil under the car somehow i had cracked the sump (wasn’t driving to quick ) so i bought so oil from the garage to get me home after stopping 4 times to top her up, nursed her home fine then as i wheeled her into the garage the wings i have sprayed up for my mate fell and landed on the bonnet of the car (luckily only a little scratch) then went out in the back garden for a beer and a smoke to calm down lent on the fence and it just fell over with me flowing it in to the next doors garden only just missing there pond Have now decided to sit in the corner with a beer and not touch anything

thought it would of been orange to match everyone elses

i remember it well, who would of forgot that.

if you were clever you could of got way with it just like this bloke mark hope you are taking note just incase you lose a wheel at the shows

most impressive, you all made it back in one peace, well mark anyway

yep were talking train volts on there own cant kill its the amps that kill. i have had many 1000's of volts throught my body (proberly lost a few brain cells in the process ) but 0.6 amps across the heart can kill even tho i have had 127amps across my chest now that was painfull

i wont say what i have done (will get in big trouble) but it wasnt on 240v thats like school boy volts and amps compared to what i work on. have seen scaffold polls turn into a puddle of metal (due to kids throwing them) makes for great photos tho

leave the poor southerner alone, some of us man up and go out, had a good drive yesterday unless you want to start the north/south divide argument off again

i also have put power up our horse field with a 50w panel and a 300w wind turbine that runs 10 LED lights, 2000w inverter,MSM gate and fence alarm and a portable 12v fridge (only on when they are up there to keep milk cold) the inverter runs a kettle, horse clippers and anyting else they want to run off of it. forgot to mention some cheep modifed sign wave inverters dont like powering kettles,and motors ie power drills, these perfure pure sign wave which are more expencive

i was in the same boat as you, no power in the garrage, but was lucky enought to gain quite a few industral deep cycle batterys (1,000ah worth ) and a 7kv UPS from work and got lucky on ebay and got a 120w solar panel for cheep. i bought some 12v low power LED lights. and away i went .Now i only realy use the UPS to charge the batteys for my cordless tools and occasionally the kettle if lacking beer. i did run corded power tools off it and had now power probles due to only using them at the weekend due to work, so the rest of the week the panel charged the battiers back up to full and most cases it was dumping power due to too much On the solar panel you would be surprised how much power it gives off on an over cast day, they dont need direct sunlight to work. tho they give there max power in direct sunlight.
