    Lowering

Use normal clamps to get an use of spring length you want first. Then order a set of custom springs to the length and poundage to suit.

    Zetec Or St170

Se figures probably, but remember the st170 is a high spec engine. St170 with an Ecu capable of controlling the vct properly is a brilliant thing.

  5. gap width depends on the width stripe you have bought, working on 60% of the width of the stripe and it should look good.
  6. There is very good details on this in the IVA manual which I am following for this. Gives specific sizes and thicknesses of reinforcing plates and which side to mount them etc

    New To Robin Hoods

Looks to be the same as mine. From memory it needs: Strengthening for rear harness mounts Strengthening for all roll bar mounts Additional bar adding to roll bar for harnesses to pass over Strengthening for front harness mounts Strengthening for seat mounts Strengthening of steering column support bar Strengthening of bulk head / pedal box That's on top if the 'normal' IVA bits. All pretty straight forward to do though, and some of it (seats definitely) is covered in the IVA manual.
  10. Build thread here. In fact I copy and paste it to two other forums as well. People forget to visit blogs where as build threads pop up on the sites we are visiting normally.
  11. I'll take the tie bar bits. Happy to pop over or pick up at a meet, which ever suits.
  12. Pm me your address and I will sort one out for you. Have at least one spare somewhere.

  21. Dutton identities are often used in ringing cars. I doubt its a genuine dutton if you thought it looked like a hood so I would walk away.
