Peter,

Not too sure of travel arrangements as yet, but I have been speaking to Mr Chairman and he may well be travelling down on the sat before and making a long week of it all. Will keep you posted as to developments.

I'm still waiting for our new shift patterns to come out at work, but the plan is for me and Mrs J to travel to France on Saturday 30th June and return two weeks on the 14th July.

Once I know my holidays, done some shift swaps or stand-ins I'll be able to book ferries etc

I'm going on 04th July travelling down to Staffordshire on evening of 03rd to collect my old man. Then travel to Dover leisurely during 04th. Then on the 05th 8.01AM ferry to Dunkerque arrives at 11AM in France. Then bit more frantic long drive to Lemans. Returning back on 10th like Sir Chris from Dunkerque again. Need to book overnighters yet if there are any suggestions? There are 3 of us travelling down. Anyone is welcome to tag along and pick us up on the way.

Cheers Lee

Just fought my way through the ACO site and bought 6 general entrance and 6 grandstand tickets (ACO stand on the start finish straight overlooking the pits) So that's Geoff (Do I) Stephen, Hugh, Bob & Mo (Florin metal works) and me sorted.

I will get the camping tickets in the new year

Hi Chris

Are you going to the 24hr? We've secured tickets at Maison - second time in 8 years (i think), so no more walking 2 miles to the track and being up to your ears in mud!

Having spent a good few hours on 'Made Marrian' over the last couple of weeks I have got a good few jobs out of the way. Mostly lighting front n rear ... now have main, dip, side, flashers, brake, number plate, fog and reverse.

A good list of jobs to do:

- boot cover

- front wheel arches (and repeaters)

- dash to cover

- seats to finalise mounting

- interior to line/carpet

- wing mirrors

- test, then:

- screen

- wipers

- heater

- hood

but could still be joining folks in the summer :-o
