What an amazing weekend.

Massive thanks to:

Gaz for organising

Rich for route planning and tour guide - some of the best roads and scenery I have ever seen.

Jackie for the awesome BBQ. Spices burgers were lovely, yum, yum.

Andi for the late night drinks!!

And all the others for putting up with the smoke!!

Glad everyone had a good time and it made the organising worthwhile and as long as people want to keep coming - we'll see that they're made welcome.

We were certainly blessed with the weather - just a small amount of rain this afternoon on the way home but nothing much to worry about.The total mileage for the weekend was in excess of 400 and it's good to see people put faith in their cars and get out and enjoy them. The routes were as follows:

Friday - the route from the second meeting point was this:

Yes, massive bostin' Steve Austin thanks from me and my bro, Brian, to you all for the organisation, planning, great grub and company over the weekend, couldn't have asked for more. Great feeling to get the car out on some "real" roads and gain confidence in these machines.

Fantastic weekend, and massive thanks to Steve for being brave(or should that be stupid?) enough to let me drive for a leg on Saturday! Certainly given me motivation to get mine finished, and of course thank you to Gaz and Rich for organising and jackie and rich for their hospitality.
