Hi guys I am new to the kit car scene , I have got a 2b and it keeps bottoming out on the rear wishbones, it also has independant suspension on the front (no sliding pillar) and gaz coilovers all round and any one help me stop it bottoming out? thanx lewis

Ajust the settings on the shocks sounds like your too soft . There should be a little thumb screw on bottom take two clicks at a time and check on a road test . Also check ride height . Normally about five or six inch under side panel where rear arch starts

Also giving you six different ride heights.......all swearing theirs is right

My correct ride height is 7 inches measured just in front of the rear wing

All Hoods have a large gap between the wheel & wing...dont try & copy other 7 types

they are designed differently.

SORTED I have lifted the ride hight and now it is fine , does not bottom out and it sticks to the road like glue... now I am going to pull my pinto out and put my redtop c20xe on r1 carbs with a nodiz ecu in now all parts ext have arived in post. Should be fun and I might need a bit of advice off you guys I will put some pics up .

must have taken a while for the postman to get the redtop though the letterbox :)

 

could have been worse i guess, carrying the pinto in his bag would have given him proper backache!

 

A lot of people fit camber shims to the rear as the sierra setup increases camber and toe-in when it is set lower in the kitcar. something i need to do soon.

also where can i get some wider arches for the front??? my tyres are a inch or so wider than the original 2b ones.
