Liz, my wife, has just made the handbrake gaiter, matches the gear stick cover she made earlier.

Think I can now use that famous E Bay saying "99% complete, just needs an IVA"

I was thinking of using an Internet dating site but all those abbreviations put me off , must have GSOH , RHSHP (right handed spanner holder preferred) must BATTU (be able to trim upholstery) MNWWSATSORB2BHBD (must not whinge when standing at the side of road because 2B has broken down)

Looks very nice. Does the metal surround on your gearstick have enough of a radius on it to pass the IVA or does the leather lip stop the radius tool getting in there? I'm pretty new to this so I'm looking for my own interior options.

Wish you hadn't raised that, the chrome surround was bought from CBS so I would hope it conforms.

However it is 5mm thick so does have a small radius of near 2.5mm so should be OK

Also think the 165mm sphere would struggle to get in there.

However I do stand to be corrected
