Rear Brake Adjusters

Hi building a part build 2b, fitted new shoes on one side plus new handbrake cable,got to do the other side , and took drum off no existing shoes.The problem ive got now is ive no adjuster and bar across top between the shoes which should of come off the old ones .Has anyone know where i can aquire any from, i i have searched internet but with no luck .1.6 sierra based. Some companies now do drum brake kits.

Not sure but it might be worth while looking through a few of them and seeing if the new parts come with them.

Have a look at ebay, you will need to know the diameter of your brakes. Just had a look for sierra brake backplates and found item 381247062040, not in your area though!

My donor had clapped out rear brakes.

My local Ford dealer had the adjusters in stock.

I had the same issue & all I could find was complete kits for about £100, so I've gone down the route of rear discs using focus calipers (discs are the same as sierra), that way spare parts should be available for a lot longer.
