Just got back from shopping and was going to give the Hood a good run out BUT the gritters have just gone passed putting plenty of nice salt down so I will be sorning it tomorrow and start the winter period changes that I want to do.

Yes, done 423 miles since I got it on the road! You probably do that in a day! Hope for more next year.

Had my last run of the year today too.

It was .......... bloody cold and the country lanes deceptively damp.

But it was still well worth it.

We're still cutting grass down in the sunny?? south, got a tad cold to-night though ; minus 2* at present. Keep the car taxed all year there will be some lovely days ahead, before spring.

once they start putting salt on the roads that's it for me kit stays on the drive

Salt is mainly used on fish & chips down here --- cold weather is reserved for you tough Northeners.

I cant wait to have a drive in my snowboarding gear on when its snowing will not sorn it..as long as u rinse the salt off shoud be fine...if u park it up in garage after drive in salt it coud end up very bad...

snowed up here last night only 1/2" didn't get above -.5 today now sitting in front of my woodburner with a glass of Jim beam

Went out and done 150+ miles in the hood with my mate in his boxter

100% need a better heater -cold was an understatement

Keep it taxed etc all year

lots of days to use it yet
