I ran 2 L shaped plates under the car and inside the engine bay to stop the flexing.

I also ran a 2x1 box section under the car between the 2 plates as a brace

Thanks everyone. I shall digest all the info and see if my son is up to the task if he gets his holiday job at the metal workshop.

I don't think it'll catch on.

I work in Telecoms & was in a meeting probably 8 or so years ago & we were looking for new ideas. I suggested a FB app where users could call each other for free, I was talked down by those in the know as being a daft idea as it would not last.

Got myself some tie bars, with it being a 2B4 with round tubing what have people done about mounting the box section for the rose joint to the chassis?

I ran 2”x1“ box under the car from each mounting point. It acts like a suspension strut and replaced the anti rollbar

i also used 90 degree plate inside the bay to sandwich the stainless panels

Don't have any images do you?

They are normally used on the monocoque cars and bolted on so I assume yours is a sub K type with a sort of mcpherson strut. I guess you will need the brackets welding to the chassis rails.
