THe show was good, loads of interesting cars, good entertainment but a bit lonely.

The decision was made not to attend as it was torrential rain in Oakham

Sorry Peter but I chickened out as we had torrential rainstorms here all weekend (and it's continuing the same today).

The BBC online forecast on Saturday night gave rain most of the day for Kimbolton on Sunday, and when I got up yesterday it was black as black here, but it looks like it was half decent there, by your photo.

I was really looking forward to it but the Sumo still isn't running right and I decided not to risk a 250 mile round trip in bad weather.

Did you have any rain at all ?  It looks like you got a few black clouds.

Unfortunately got called out to help with family stuff just as I was about to leave, so I didn’t make it either.

There was a small shower about 2 then a heavy rain at 4 which was a shame as a great band called barefoot doctors were just starting their second set as everyone dived for cover! for about 20 mins then it dried up.
