I get screens cut in 6mm laminate at any local glass supplier. I've broken 2, but that was poor engineering, now sorted. Nick

So, I thought i'd treat the 2b to new tyres. I saw a link on facebook for a 4 for 3 offer at Demon Tweaks, £395 delivered. Me thinks expensive, lets try Black circles.... £190 all in, fit, valve, balance and disposal of old tyres. Guess the deal I went for.. booked in for 4pm last Thursday. I dropped the wheels off Wednesday due to a work thing, called in Thursday 5.30, no tyres, friday, no tyres.. eventually they turned up Tuesday, but whilst they were being fitted a 2nd set turned up (I did try to get them for free). So, price wise, black circles every time, but not if you're in a hurry. Nick

Picked up a inlet manifold/plenum today so going to strip it and play with the injectors from that soon. May try all suggestions for cleaning and go from there. Nick

Fuel pump is good, pressure seems ok. It's always run a little lean which helps with emissions at MOT time. I know it needs a good tune up, but it was a comment from a fuel injection specialist that prompted the question. It was too lean when I built it and I adjusted the AFM to richen it up(at a garage with gas analyser) but we couldn't get any more from it. Nick

I've just bought an inlet manifold which I hope i'll get to play with in the next week. Thinking that I can clean that up including injectors and try it out before going any further. I'll let you know if I need any more Stu. Thanks Nick.

Hi, I've been advised to get my injectors cleaned, so I thought i'd look at replacements. Before I delve deeper, does anyone know the part numbers for standard injectors, or any suitable replacements. My engine has alway run a little on the lean side, so upping the flow rate may help. I think it also depends on the year as to what "plus" meant. When I bought mine (2004) there was no option to upgrade to wishbone front on the standard 2b. The plus had all stainless and wheels and tyres, no seats though. Nick
