  2. well i phoned helix to enquire as to witch clutch to order cos you have to buy it through one of there distributors they took my number cos they were busy and i waited most of the day for the return phone call it didnt happen so took Kerrys advice and contacted C&G clutches who were more helpful ish!!

  4. good news you will soon be taking the head off and getting it ported and skimmed now you have the knowledge to set cam timing

    the GBS brackets are prone to breakage
  6. type9 and mt75 are the usual suspects but there are lots of other options but adapter plates are required
  7. just to put a spanner in the posts i found it fairly easy to fit a intank pump swirl pot and pump into the zetec tank cos my tank is alloy stainless steel is a bit trickier but do able and is a far better setup than having a low pressure pump feeding a swirl pot in the engine bay feeding a high pressure pump in engine bay i know of a few people who have suffered fuel vapuorisation due to engine bay temperatures and GBS rave on about that setup cos it means more money for them also that setup causes the fuel tank temperature to rise not good

    if the cam pulleys have slipped could cause rattling due to valve bounce if the valves have hit the pistons it would not idle well

    but i would check cam timing the pulleys could have slipped just for reference cam pulley bolts are torqued to 75nm

    zetec is on a belt for cam so no rattle a wideband is a good piece of kit has enabled me to tune mine myself infact i have unleashed so much power my clutch cant handle it

  14. Looks like top of rad is highest point so raise front of car then bleed from top hose at rad it's a pain but doable

  18. at the moment i am running 1.8 focus flywheel and clutch and when i get to about 3200rpm full boost kicks in and i hit the rev limiter at 6400rpm but gain no more forward momentum i have to do a series of yoyos with the throttle pedal to get the clutch to bite

  20. hey DanE wot is your clutch like been reading they can be a bit troublesome for road use sorry better word awkward

  22. when i run out of type 9s i can move on to my MT75
