    Hood/roof

A 2b roof fitted my Exmo and my Exmo one fits my 3a , follow that if you can. The big BUT is the position and rake angle of the screen.
  3. Robin Hood did produce some kits to convert the S7 monocoque to double wishbone suspension and several were sold to Rhocar members through the forum. These kits involved cutting off the original suspension and fitting the space frame to the monocoque. I was talking to the person who had designed the frame and he told me he still has some frames in his garage. If anyone is interested I have his phone number if you send me a PM I will pass the number on.

  6. Hi Dave, as acting Area organizer for the North East branch and Chairman of the North East Kit and Classic Car Club, I would like to support you in your efforts to organise a Meeting at Duns. We have been up to Duns twice in the last 18 months once for the Museum and the other for the Jim Clark Memorial w/e. Once you get a date organised I will try to get a group of cars from the two clubs to have a run up to meet up with you. I have been following your build and am looking forward to seeing the finished car when we come up. Alan

    Zetec Rattle

Some AC/DC and a set of headphones is the solution.
  11. As you can see from my profile picture I use mud-guards made from a set of Sainsburys flexible chopping boards, I now have red green and white ones!!!!!. they make a big difference to the amount of spray coming up to your right elbow.

  13. The July meeting will be held at the Church mouse,Waldridge, Chester-le-Street. DH2 3RJ on next Wed. the 25th from 7-30pm. All welcome. Weather forcast is for sunny with a slight breeze, so get your kits out.
  14. Sorry I didn't make it to the event, after a very busy week moving house, I was really looking forward to coming down, but i took the car out for a shakedown run on Friday and on the way home the steering started acting strange. It was sticking at what felt like a tight spot on the rack. On the jack the steering feels fine and i can't find any play any-where on the system, so it looks like a steering knuckle failing or a bent rack!!!. Totally sick I have parked it up and will go away and try and sort it next week. Sorry I missed you all, hope you all enjoyed it. Alan
  15. The June meeting will be held at the Church Mouse,Waldridge, Chester-le-Street. DH2 3RJ on next Wed. the 27th from 7-30pm. All welcome Will Harry sort the car and get it to the meeting for the first time this year?, will Paul give the Zero a wash? will Norman be away on another cruise? and will Alan remember to bring the propshaft for Harry? the answers to all these questions and many others can only be found out by attending in glorious sunshine on Wedensday. See you all there.
  16. Check that the spring is sitting properly on its top and bottom seats, if not seated properly it could be lifting that corner and giving positive camber. When i had mine after it had been jacked up the spring would sometimes give acrack as it settled into position
  17. Hi Lee, add me to your list please. Alan

    Front Lights

Sounds like a bad earth, could be in the plug, or the earth terminal to body or at any connection in between, i assume you have tried a different bulb just to eliminate that. #]
