I am hoping someone might be able to tell me the connections for my altrnator on a Rover T series. I know one is for the charging circuit and I think one connects directly to the warning lamp but what is the other one for and which is which. Get ready for many more questions as I am in full flow off attemping to wire up. Thanks for any help. Jez

Just got my new Emerald ECU and have spent the last 2 nights figuring how to wire it up. Most of it seems straight forward but I am not to sure about the injectors and the stepper motor, which pins etc. I have a Rover 2.0L Thanks, Jez

I have the Rover T series with the Turbo. I am not using the ECU, have ordered an Emerald. If its the same as yours you are welcome to try it and see if your revs come down. Jez

I cant beleave that some people have the brass neck to still trade and advertise, given the amount of unhappy customers they have got. I ordered and paid for an Aero screen in the beginning of November last year (just checked my credit card statements). Still no sign of it. I have tried to phone him over 20 times, sent numerous emails and not one answer. I wish I had done my homework about this company. Lots of interesting reading on the Locost site. It looks like I will have to contact my credit card company and see if they can help recover the money. Love to meet him face to face. It does make me feel better to vent some anger. Jez

I had a problem like this where a high tensile bolt snapped a few times. To resolve it I used 12.8 strength bolts instead of the 8.8 ones. Then the weakest point would be the nuts you are using. If there is enough room you could put 2 nuts on, spreading the load. Jez

I mounted my battery in the suggested position for my Turbo super spec which was under the radiator. This position was really, really hard to connect the battery which I have had to do many times during the build. Today I decided that enough was enough and so I took it off (which took about 1 1/2 hours). I know you will be thinking to move it to the normal position against the fire wall, but on the Turbo there is no room. I have searched the forum as it must have been covered before, but cannot find it. What I would like to do is mount it in the boot. Are there any special conditions like seperate compartment or can I just find a suitable position and fasten it in? Thanks, Jez

Even with rust holes, its better than the service provided by GTS Tuning. Still waiting 6 weeks later and he has never picked up his phone or answered his emails. I wish I had got 60 days grace. Jez

Sounds like the oil needs topping up. It wll work ok with no load on because it will pump air into the cylinder instead of oil, but not under load. Jez

Definitely make your own. I have just ripped out the one supplied with the car because there was so much not getting used. So much easier for fault finding without lots of obsolete circuits. Jez

I ordered an Aero screen from GTS Tuning 3 weeks ago. I have tried to call several times (only a mobile number given), sent emails but unable to get a reply from anyone. Has any other member used them and am I just worrying about nothing. Cheers, Jez

I think I've been swayed. I will use the steering column switch until after the SVA. I was hoping not to cut a hole in the new cowl, but after the replys, it seems to be the easiest option. And WOW, I didn't realise some people were so passionate. Thanks for all the advice Jez
