    Essex V6

That's what my old Granada used to run. Can't remember if it was clockwise though
  2. If you've got an aftermarket stereo you might already have that facility. Most modern head units will Bluetooth to your phone. You may simply need a microphone which can clip on your visor or be installed neatly on the pillar.
  3. The egg shape was to allow space for the efi injectors. I believe that the porting was improved as well as unleaded which is why it's the favoured head to use
  4. The injection head is the better head to use. It has better inlet ports and has 10 bhp extra as standard over the older round port head. It can still be used with carbs. It will also be unleaded fuel converted so no additional cost for conversion on a leaded round port head. If it's already got a mild cam fitted I'd see how it goes and personally re-sell the round ported head.

    Help!

I've got them at home but I'm out in Spain. I can dig them out when I'm back on Tuesday if that helps. I can scan and email so almost instantaneous ( once I'm home )
  6. Would the standard pinto fuel pump and a regulator be sufficient for a bike carb setup Or is a Facet pump and regulator the best way forward?
  7. I'm in Carterton but have an Exmo, am happy to help but I didn't build mine.

    Sub-K Suspension

The 2b and sub k are the same chassis with different front suspension systems. The sub k was later introduced as the 2b whilst the double wishbone 2b was named the 2b plus. There are a few folk on this forum that have done the modification themselves, either by fabricating their own wishbones or by having GBS do it for them or fitting the GBS kit themselves. Someone should be on here so that can provide pictures.

    Sub-K Suspension

I'm sure gbs sell a kit for it. Look on kitspares it's about £600
  10. Yep. Standard hubs so it looks like they will fit straight on. I really wanted some brackets from MK but thought they were too much money. I can't weld so needed something pre made.
  11. I bought some at Stoneleigh but haven't had a chance to fit them yet. I think they might need strengthening but I'll do that as I come to fit them
  12. There are 3 dedicated magazines that I know of. Kitcar magazine , Complete Kitcar and Total Kitcar. My preference is Complete kitcar but we will all differ. The best source of RH related info is on this website. Just search a desired heading or keyword and start reading. If you have the double wishbone 2B there is a top hat mod which improves the geometry and handling, if you have the sliding pillar there are mods out there or a rework to double wishbone. All the information is s click away.
  13. Download the app Vehicle Smart and check the reg. It comes up as a triumph sports from '65 Good mot history with no advisories since 2013 so probably well maintained. I'd be a bit concerned about the description of triumph as it isn't correctly registered. Others here might be able to shed more light .
  14. Positive identification can be got from here http://nw.rhocar.org/identification.htm There are a few variations of the 2B with different front wishbones. Loads of folk have carried out loads of modifications on the 2B so there will always be help here should you need it. Well worth the £15 membership
  15. Welcome to the wonderful world of Rhocar. It's difficult to say when it was built but you can track its history through its mots perhaps. It might have originated from the Thames Valley region. Some one on here might recognise it so it's worth posting a picture. From a security point of view I'd edit your post to omit the chassis number, just in case.

    2B Chassis

The 2b was designed to take a full sized car seat so width shouldn't be an issue. The leg room should be ok too and I'm sure that someone on here will testify to that too. The zero comes in two sizes, the GT being slightly wider so if you're looking for a built one then that's the one to look for. There are monthly meets in a variety of locations so your best bet is to try and attend one and ask politely if you can try some out for size. Hope this helps Dave
  17. That's what I was afraid of but have seen some seats and really like em. I'd just like something more supportive Has anyone fitted Corbeau forzas or similar seats to their cars.
  18. A question for the monocoque guys but open to everyone, What seats do you have, and will Corbeau Forza seats fit? I've currently got Cobra Roadster seats and am looking to upgrade, I know there isn't much room to play with and there is more room in the 2B but will they fit. I've done my measurements and the base should as its 19 inch base but it's the side of the chassis interfering that worries me. I'm trying to keep to a budget other wise I'd go to Intatrim. I'd rather know before I purchase them and then find out they're not suitable. Cheers in advance
  19. I missed you at stoneleigh. Are the vents still available?
  20. I'd be interested in the vent mouldings if the car makes it to stoneleigh Dave.

    Pinto Problem

I had an issue with my old Alfa where everything looked fine until I closely inspected my Rotor arm. It had a hair line crack and was shorting to the chassis causing a miss fire. It only happened under load but I'd agree with Paul and all the others. Double check your ignition first. Do one thing at a time. Take a methodical approach. I'm going to Stoneleigh in the tintop with my family. It doesn't detract from my day not having my exmo there. Dave

    Pinto Problem

Regardless of the low compression, if the engine is slow to turn have you checked the starter motor. A knackered starter motor will drain the battery and give similar symtoms as you've described.
  23. I'm hoping to attend if I can drop wife and kids at the dragon-in-laws
  24. I think I ended up removing my head to get the required clearance when I did mine on my exmo
