Full face bike helmet, keeps my missus a bit happier

Mine was exactly the same till I tried smaller main jets than GBS do. I plan another rolling road session soon and I suspect the jets may have to come down in size even more. You could try soldering them up and re-drilling. Andi

First time for me but what a a fantastic place, just a quid to park and thats it. Many monsterous vehicles, loads of bikes, scooters and quite a few 7`s 2nd Tuesday of every month. Shame its not on weekends but I guess thats something to do with using the cricket pitch to park on.

I experimented with an M6 hole then used a M7 tap but the thread is weak and barely visible, having said that I didnt use any cutting compound and the plate is just 5mm thick so a little on the thin side plus I was given the taps so unsure of the quality. Its all just experimental for now but good to know some pointers. Thanks Andi

If I was to use say an m6 tap, I then presume an m6 screw would be used to fit the tapped hole. But what drill size would I use prior to tapping? Thanks in advance Andi

Hi all, Looking at replacing my dash as its looking a bit shabby. Yeah, knocked down my temp by 2 deg in the summer, just enough to keep the fan off most of the time. I think the claims of improved performance is questionable and there are a number of claims that it can hold water and rust the exhaust when cold (was that you Chris?) which sound feasible as they smoke a lot from cold. I found soaking it in a bowl of soapy water helped to make it more pliable and cut down on the particles flying everywhere. I ran out of ties and used chicken fence wire twisted with snips which still has`nt moved and is barely noticeable. Andi

Yeah it is tatty. The diner forecourt was rammed with vehicles so we had to park down the side. I think its a warehouse/distribution and coach centre.

Check the float bowl drain screws while carbs are on and check the common mistake of putting the fuel pipe into air intakes instead of fuel inlet. Other than that looks like a carbs off jobby

I am not by no means a vegetarian, but the one and only place I will not eat meat is KFC.
