  3. its best & easier if you can use a laptop with serial connector. is it a new or used Megajolt? new ones have a safe base map preloaded that will run just about anything. if its used you can download it from autosportlabs website. there is also a section on the website with loads of maps on, should be a few for zetecs If you have Megajolt V4 you can have 2 maps loaded and switch between the 2 while driving. Cheers Paul

    Sierra Dohc

I have a DOHC in a zero, with bike carbs fitted had to do a few tweeks to engine to fit it, but the zero chassis was standard if you want to keep EFI, Redspec on here may have more info moved altenator to below water pump even with a shortened sump I lifted the engine so sump is level with floor, so had to put bonnet bulge on as engine sticks through bonnet.(see pic) some people have changed the flywheel as its v v heavy but i didnt bother hope this helps cheers Paul

can you get another hoodie to have a look. a fresh pair of eyes can pick things up. I felt I had missed something obvious and was still in garage at 1am night before test checking things over. If your driving to test ensure insurance is sorted, if trailering have a trial run getting on & off trailer My tester was ok, even made me a cuppa & was happy to answer any questions/give advice Good Luck Paul

  18. ten years ago I was done for doin 108mph on a bike on dual carraigeway, I contacted RAC legal dept for advice & they sent me a generic "grovelling" letter. I took the letter to court adding that I needed transport for working shifts. considered myself very lucky to get 6 points & £280 fine when everyone else in court that day was banned. never been caught since Paul
