I bought one from EBay and having replaced the broken cable the clutch jammed solid. Thought I must have damaged something in the clutch itself, engine out ; no problem found. Turned out the new cable would move freely until the outer was put under pressure and then the cable jammed. Called the supplier who gave me my money back, no apology just "we have had problems with our supplier". Was not a happy bunny for several days!!! Ask Kerry!!!!!

Bump I will be contacting the pub to give them some idea of numbers so now is your chance to join us for lunch. The menu should be available soon and I will post it so we can pre order. I will be asking for a £5 deposit for lunch, when you order, if you wish to pay by PayPal please PM me for my PP ID.

I think the Rutland Belle is the only powered boat allowed; except for emergency RIBS.

Here are the routes for the run out on Sat, if we leave the site around 11:30 - 12:00 ish then we will arrive at the Plough Inn for a 2:30 lunch. I have booked 20 -30 places for lunch and will post sample menu as soon as I can. The pub will need a pre order but I will post the July/August menu as soon as I get it. I managed to pick up just the plastic bit at Stoneleigh at one of the stalls in the side hall just a couple of £ as I remember.

There are some very interesting cars in the town square and surrounding roads. The reason we are going straight to the RV is that I cannot walk very far so rather than add more to my car depression we will meet you there.

How about meeting up HERE, (postcode LE15 9BF) its a public road and it's on our route out of Uppingham, its the same place as last year I don't think there were any problems, except Keith scrounging water! If we meet up there ready to depart at 11:00 am sharp then we should not be there more than 15 mins and should not upset the locals too much. Marilyn and I will go directly there. I cannot walk too far at the moment, new knee needs more bedding in! Following the same route as last year, ie both loops, we will have enough time to stop off at the farm shop for essential supplies leaving at 12:45pm. Then its the the run down to Stilton for lunch at....... 2:00pm. This is earlier than last year so we need to be away from the farm shop on time.

Bring it on Neil, I am so pleased you are up for the challenge. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Thanks to all for the compliments, I hope I have passed on information to some and enjoyment to many. Most thanks go to the contributors without whom there would be no magazine, please support Neil (I'm sure he will be elected) as you have done me over the last four years. No problem blame me, SWIMBO usually does, I have broad shoulders.
