  1. Mine was from a Suzuki Alto. --Had to fit a Ford pulley ti it !
  2. What a lot of people are not saying is that they had to make new mounting brackets too. It allows you to put the alternator whwre you want it not where Ford needed it in their original model.
  3. I could use a couple more in the garage, Bob. Not done a lot over the Xmas period --had the bug thingy. Engine is in bits - crank being regound, mains, ends-- overbore, new pistons etc. Hopefully ready for the nice weather -- we must have some in 2013 !! Graham
  4. Looks good Bob. Happy Xmas to come
  5. I suppose I better ask the question. lobro or push fit shafts? 7" or 7 1/2 " diff casing ?
  6. Could it be another "Lightweight" that has resurfaced. It looks a bit aluminium to me .

  8. Its a 2B sliding pillar , probably mild steel chassis and panels ( by the rust on the bonnet ). I think there is a lot more small stuff still in the garage. A real project !!!
  9. Mike at Autoprop will make you one. Just tell him Sierra diff and MT75 without the doughnut. He made me the adapter plate to fit the gearbox. The whole unit is 23 inches long, slider included. 10. A bit early for my planner. But I am up for it.. (They wouldn't let me try the hill all those years ago in my Austin 7 special) Graham B
  11. Thanks for a great weekend. I appologise for getting us lost on a number of occassions. A sat nav and bright sunshine dont really work in an open top. The thunder and lightning and packing up wet, were just a olocal event. I took the Surrey off on the other side of Marlborough. Tent and all dried out and repacked by tea time. Many thanks to all. Graham
  12. Club area C Stand 01 After 9:30 - Entrance via NORTH WAY off Honeycroft Hill, UB10 9NG will get you in the right road..
  13. Wow, That's so much easier when scrolling down a thread..
  14. A most enjoyable outing. The straight road back to Highclere got a bashing !!
  15. There are mno exact dimensions. It depends on where and at what angle you fitted your screen. Best fit is with the car in front of you..
  16. Bob and Mo, Thanks for a brilliant weekend. Nice to renew acquaintances. Happy travels Stewart and Kay. All camping stuff dried, aired and stored away. I now have a rubber drain plug in the floor of the boot!! Graham B
  17. No Bob, the Hood provides better airflow down the tunnel, than the flat floored Nissan.
  18. The diff in the NIssan 200sx donor has its own oil cooler attached. It was a 3.92 unit, so the internals would have been doing the same work as the Sierra one. Obviously the Japs noticed that they get hot..
  19. Alan, I am sure I have a number of relays and bases various in the shed---extracted from donors various. You are more than welcome to come over for a rummage. Graham
  20. Looking good. I think I took a bit moe away . the two holes at the bottom of the bell housing were cut in half!!! -so not used. Defiantely beat hitting the speed humps hard !.
  21. You will need to shorten the pick up pipe too. I cut mine in the middle , removed the straight section and welded back tpgether. It was not the asiest of mods!! graham B
