  2. part #184 was in the back of the car, still wrapped with doors and top (all still new!) I can't identify. Thanks!
  3. Hello, I’ve recently inherited the responsibility for getting my late grandfathers (now mine) Robin hood Exmo back on the road after around 15 years in the garage! I’ve turned my attention to the fuel pump/ lines now as I am unsure if the E10 fuel will be compatible with either of these, the donor car was a 1986 C reg. looking at the fuel pump it seems to be different to modern set up so am unsure what the best approach would be. could anyone shine some light on what the bellow type part is that is attached to the fuel pump?( i’ve attached a picture!) am i right in thinking that this would be redundant when replacing the whole pump or is it something that needs to remain? Any other suggestions on the fuel lines and pump set up would be appreciated! Thanks!
  4. Hello all, my auntys father-in-law is selling his Robin Hood kitcar. I haven’t got loads of info car, the car os in South Yorkshire. He’s only selling it due to ill health and hasn’t really used it much. £5500 Ono small description in one of the photos that is given us it’s not the best so if you give me your details, I’ll pass them on. cheers Andy
  6. Maybe vin tag is not the correct term
  7. one thing I am having a difficult time with, is locating the Vin tag. 2001, not in the pedal box area or anywhere normal on chassis as GBC suspects. The inspection facility will need to see this, it is out of Province so requires the inspection and Vin. Kind Regards Jim
  8. Thanks that's what I'm thinking now.
  9. Agreed but it was the style I'm looking for
  10. There is a loud tapping noise coming from the engine when it's running. Has anyone had this issue ? I'm new to the kit car game so any help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide some photos aswell. Thank you
  11. You will need wipers, washers and demisters. Easiest way is just take off the windscreen again.
  12. Hi all My 2b passed its IVA 3 years ago and is now due for its first mot. When presented for IVA there was no window screen fitted, for obvious reasons. Since then over the past few years I fitted a screen but no wipers an washer, do I need wipers ect for mot or will I need to remove the screen to get a pass. I took it this morning and before the mechanic even started the test he stated it needs wipers so I never entered the garage to avoid a fail. I was told a couple of years ago by someone on a club stand that they are only tested if present on the car. Can anyone give me the correct information or advise. Thanks in advance.
  13. Unless I've got the scale wrong, that is tiny - wouldn't stop a go-kart

  17. As per the title, A friend of mine originally built this car and it was one of a select few that passed the IVA first time. He sold it to someone in Liverpool but then lost track of it. He would like to know where it is now. Registration is G994 KOG (ignore the plates in the second picture, it was on a personal plate). The gov.uk site shows it has been untaxed since March last year and the MOT ran out last Oct. So it won't be on the road, it will be sitting in a garage somewhere. Anyone know of it ?
  18. Ha, well, as said. Wont happen soon, but, if fuel gets too expensive. true about Revelstoke area, fresh drinkable water, air, large game. Gods country!
  19. Dog and Gun Keyham. 6.30ish onwards, we had reserved parking last month long the bottom of the carpark. Dog and Gun, Main St, Keyham, Leicester LE7 9JQ
  20. Anybody know a car MC that sort of looks like
  21. NO!!! Why would you want to spoil such a thing, the 4AGE is an awesome little engine, all EV's are the devils work, they are a flash in the pan & will soon die out once the truth is known about them. Environmentally friendly my arse, they are more harmful to the planet than a Hemi V8
  22. Ah man, that is a BEAUTIFUL part of the world to have a kit car in - I did an RV tour around BC back in 1997 and we went through Revelstoke....awesome area! BUT... putting an electric motor in a kit car (or any car)?! Sacrilege...don't do it....
  23. time noted, thanks, I will await suggestions/ comments etc from the NW contingent who cannot make it
  24. The organisers have confirmed we have the meeting room booked for 15:00 on Saturday for our AGM. Make sure you contact the Secretary if you want to bring anything up (details are in the magazine, which for postal users should be arriving soon)
  25. Hello I recently acquired a 2001 Robin Hood with a 4AGE 5 speed, seems great. Though, I am considering putting in an Electric Drive ‘Unit’ I will be enjoying this beauty for a few 1000km before, or if gas prices stay reasonable, longer, harder & etc!!! thanks rhocar Jim
  26. Busy few days car just prepped for paint heres few photos of progress. my skills coming along slowly getting better and better at it. getting all ready for primer on sanded and we’re done tiny bit of fibre glass repairs. Hopefully get it in base grey down on hole body very soon.
