It's about time you got your IVA application in - it's only 9 weeks until the Wales weekend!!!!

there are a couple of bits, but at the moment it's more that I haven't had/made the time to work on it. The lack of motivation hasn't been helped by the fact I am still waiting on settlement of the Scooby claim so the money just isn't there to get it on the road when it's ready.

In a better mood now! Settlement is being transfered to me today and should be on my account in the next few days

Tonight I did work on the kit for the first time in months. I didn't do a lot, but I changed my mastercylinder reservoir setup from the kit I had put together to a genuine Sierra one as I was finally able to get one thanks to a local hoodie!

 

I'm hoping to start spending a bit more time on it again now and put it through IVA in 2015!

Got told "I didn't expect you to be finished so quick" when I went back in, so went back out and took the crappy weber34 off and trial fitted a 32/36 with filter, will clear the bonnet so all good. Just need a new inlet gasket.

New inlet gasket purchased, new throttle cable made up, lists written...

Today I fitted the carb properly, faffed around a bit with ideas for coolant expansion bottle, and tidied up a bit. Not a lot but progress is progress.

Today I got round to doing something with the lovely 3D printed parts I mentioned at the top of this page.

The headlight bracket cover isn't fully fitted yet and took a bit of cut and adjusting to get it to work, but it's ready to be painted and fixed on now.

 

 

I also did a bit of work in making the extra bar I bolted to roll bar look neater.

 

 

More tomorrow if swmbo allows it...

Spitfire just been collected. This means I have no excuse for delaying getting the hood ready for IVA anymore...
