Just arrived back from Normandy trip with a group from RHOCaR. Seven cars, one Zero, four 2B's and two tin tops. Last night all the cars had done at least 900 miles, some quite a few more. My total for the week is 1235 and the group total could top 10, 000 and best of all, not a single mechanical all week.

I got back just before midnight last night after a really amazing week. I didn't clock my final mileage but I estimate it to be around the 900 mark. A big thank you to Steve for organising it all and to everyone else for making it a great week.

1650 trouble-free miles in Florin. Thanks for all the work that went into this great trip Steve, & thanks also to Chris & Derek who held our hand most of the time we were on foreign soil; now back home after a quick run cross country & being shown where Tesco's store was.

so 5 kits, over 7000 miles and not one breakdown - that's a victor moment

Glad you had a good time all, and pity you missed a fab run out today Steve. Mitch is now busy organising the Wales weekend for next year, although I suspect they will be travelling down in the vovlo..............

Got back 12:30 today, 1560 miles to add to the total. Thanks to all the inmates of L'Orangerie for a great time, but a special vote of thanks to our S.H.I.T leader for making the past week a remarkable experience.

Happy Day's

Marilyn & Derek

P.S. Sylv & Bob, Yes I might have big thumbs but I can get to Tesco.

Mark, I seem to have been volunteered (I'm sure I wasn't there when I was "volunteered" ) to do a write up for the mag and set up a download site for all the photo's, so be patient !!!

I am also going to have a go at putting a video together as I had a GoPro fitted for most of the week. It may take a while as I have a lot of footage to go through.

Another pic above. Steve had swapped his 2B for a Tiger that day :bad: . Another big thanks to Steve for all he did, and to all the others for making it such a good week. 1400 miles for us and only a wobbly CB antenna to cause a problem. Bri
