3 Years Work

So after 3 years solid building, ripping hair out, redoing things 3 times, and becoming pretty handy with BMW wiring looms I present my M3 powered Marlin sportster, which is the first built of its kind. A hybrid mix of a 5 series, 3 series and M3. I still need to put all the IVA trim and covers on, but I now feel the actual building of the car is finished. I am hoping iva will be relatively painless, I'm handing the car back to Marlin to get it through its test. I have nothing to prove in trying to get it through first time or doing it all my self! I just want the registration plates!

 

Driving the thing is going to be extremely exciting & terrifying

Well up there in build standard. I remember how nice your hood was even though you didn't seem too happy with it.

Yea I plan on upgrading to some wire spoke wheels after iva, they are pretty expensive though! I have seen one other Marlin with them and it looks great! The build is not perfect, and some of the body panels need redoing, but I will be addressing those kind of issues when I strip it for paint next year. Will be running unpainted this year!

Stock engine is 320 bhp, the ecu is remapped For 340. Car weighs under 1 tonne. Should be fun! Need an m5 lad!!
