Just do it!

Had a 280bhp/300lb torque Z20LET in my 2B before selling it last year, Kerry has a Z20LET putting out pretty much the same power in his and there are several others with cossies and V8 engines around the 300bhp mark without any problems.

Obviously you'll need to sort braking and suspension to match the power output

You'll find the 2B chassis is just about the strongest 7 type chassis out there,

thats why they are 100 - 200 KG heavier than some other 7s.

Frankly the car is as safe as you are.

Fit top notch tyres, & Mintex 1144 pads. The standard brakes

are fine as they are, they were designed to stop a car that could weigh

twice what the hood weighs.

Sign up for some trackdays with professional instruction,

& maybe get it on a skid pan.

BTW I have a redtop, 175 bhp, specialist bellhousing and modified type 9.

Well worth it.
