I Have tried to arrange a rhocar drag racing session in the past and from experience best to just book in on day as the wonderful UK weather is so dependable.

 

With this in mind please see below Three dates proposed. The Plan being we aim for date 1, If weather is looking bleak we bail and try for date 2 etc. (no reason we couldn't do more than one if wanted)

 

Its £35 for the day which is £10 Entry and £25 to run (Sat night special £30 9.30 til 8pm) pay on the day.

 

 

 

Dates are

 

1. 16th June

2. 7th July - sat night special (run til 8pm and camp but bmw show next day)

3. 11th August

 

so pencil them into ya diaries.

 

If i can get an idea of numbers interested that would be great.

I'm in...escept for 16th June (family birthday)

Also there is a trial 1/8 drag meeting at Rockingham circuit

on 7th May. I know this conflicts with Stoneleigh, but it will be run as a

copy of the Street Outlaws formula. There will be some serious doorslammer cars

there running on a No-Prep part of the circuit......I understand it will be on the pit road.

There will also be Caterhams running on the inside track & drift racing on another part,

so something for everyone.

I will post more details as they are firmed up.

June and July Im up for, August clashes with mids Wales weekend.

Missed that stu? Should be in my calendar! Will have to have words with wife. I won't make that one either then but no reason others can't go if first two are washouts.

 

I think this is the only date in august.

Oops it is in my diary!!! Have had a look and this is the only option. so will stick with it will just have to find a stand in for the day if it comes to it!

Ok so who's going and when ?

As much as I would like to say I will be at one of them this year, the only one I think I would have a realistic chance of making is the August one and it clashes with the wales weekend.

We do Santa pod loads throughout the year so will probably be up for any of those dates.

By the looks of it then no one is going, fancy it then rich ? Your V8 versus the banshee ?

I’ve got to get my gearbox oil leak fixed the the v8 first mate - not surprising trey are dead strict about oil drips - drop oil on the track and it shuts the whole thing down for at least an hour!

 

Might take the vx tho if I can ever get it through the mot!

My gearbox has got to come out also, it's pissing oil out the front after the track day

I'm up for that any of those dates work for me.

Will post up nearer the date to get idea of numbers and as above weather dependant. My intention is to do the first good wether one. But no reason you can't go as group to the others as well if wanted

I.m fixing oil after stoneleigh,. So assuming the dates don't clash with work I will be there
