After to many years the car is nearly finished.

I have booked it in to GBSC to get it through the IVA.

I know its a bit of a cop out at this stage, but work seems to get in the way so much and I don't want the build to stall yet again.

I hope they don't find too much wrong as I feel I have done a decent job.

My main problem will be that I haven't followed the IVA spec to closely, just built it as I think it should be.

Fingers crossed.

It looks good from the picture, good job!  Taking it to GBS to put through the IVA is not a cop out, many people do the same.  They know exactly what does and doesn't need to be done and work closely with the test centre.  It may cost extra but it is a guaranteed pass, or as guaranteed as it can be!

I would have taken mine to GBS if i had been able to afford it, so don't worry about it. If you haven't been checking with the IVA manual then all the more reason for GBS to do it. Alternatively, take the car to Yeading for IVA like I did - they rarely get kit cars and didn't check half the things I've heard others fail on 😗

By the way, that gold panelling must have cost a bit! 😉

I didn’t know the GBSC route was so popular until I tried to book it.

Been wait months for the booking. The other reason is I took it there is it’s only 30 minutes away

thanks for the comments

Knowing the work you have put into the build and seeing the car a couple of times during the build I would expect it to sail through.  Best of luck.  (Mine was also SVAd through GBS)
