Hi Connie,

There's a large plug on the side, with a massive hex key. Full up using a bottle with long tube fitted. Failing that I have seen some guys make a hole (25mm) in the tunnel, so much easier.

yeah, its more getting to the filler thats the problem. Hole in the tunnel idea sounds like best bet, ill have another look at the weekend. Thanks

On the old Exmo, I managed to get a length of transparent, flexible tubing (breather hose that came with a catch tank) in from the engine bay and down into the gearbox, I then hung it from the garage ceiling with a funnel pushed into it, and filled it (very slowly!) that way. Just if you don't want to do the hole-in-tunnel approach, that's all. Fast it 'aint but it works.

I bought a cheap pressure sprayer and attached flexible tubing to the end of the lance.  Put the oil in the sprayer, pressurise it, bung the flexible tubing into the gearbox filler hole from under the car and then control the flow of oil with trigger. Job done.
