Robin Hood Road TAX

CAF

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

Just got my Robin Hood S7 1997  back on the road for the summer. I was amazed to find that the road tax is now £325, it's petrol with a Sierra 1993cc Pinto engine, nothing else special. Is this correct or am I missing something?

o my god is there anything else the goverment can take more money from people its a joke😡

🤣

Especially when you are taxing 3 vehicles and none of them can even get into Birmingham City Centre without an extra pollution charge.

Having said that, it does help to pay for the upstanding quality and maintenance of our envious road networks  🤣🤣🤣

EVs are getting taxed at £165, but some old diesels remain at £20 or £30 quid?

Source?

As I read it, the recently announced government policy change on zero emissions vehicles appears to indicate that BEV cars (not vans) will move to the equivalent of the old graduated tax band 'B' from 2025, which is currently only £20 per year. Electric vans will be clobbered with the standard Petrol/Diesel rate (currently £180 pa).

Road tax is a joke, my Chevy is on LPG with Zero emissions on gas yes full whack to tax, even worse is my Smart Brabus Roadster, 0.7l turbo engine, I’m sure a fart has more emissions yet the dvla want £160 for the year….. it probably only do 200 miles at best… Road Tax = Daylight robbery…. I bet when my RH7 is back on the road that will be the same over £300 with the 2.0l Pinto. Anyone feel like a run to No.10 😂😂😂 anyways rant over…. Let’s enjoy the driving season all

Just taxed my 2.0 2B IIRC it was £325 pa, Ive done it monthly, almost £31 per month.

I also live just inside Khans Kingdom, so Im facing ULEZ at £12.50 per day.

I'd move abroad, but the EU wont let me.

I'd move outside ULEZ, but the value of my house has now dropped just because of ULEZ.

makes you feel like joining the travellers & sticking 2 fingers up at any kind of authority.
